I post about the many unanswered requests for advocacy and/or representation so, if the person has never received the information, others who read my information can ask them to consider replying, hopefully positively. I have  placed onto my blog the actual ads I ran in two legal newspapers in San Francisco in 2008. I rented a restaurant so there was a physical location attorneys could come to for dinner (courtesy) to meet me and to receive more information. Not a single attorney showed up. One of the newspapers alone supposedly has a paid circulation of over 9,000 attorneys.  One of the insurance cases alone I had in litigation for over 500,000 in damages plus. I thought the stalking was ongoing harassment for filing the ADA suit against a government entity in Texas or for the insurance suits but I could not be sure until legal inquiries were made. IF we actually had access to the courts and were as “overlawyered” as some people claim , surely a number of attorneys would have presented to at least obtain information. After all, these legal newspapers carried numerous articles about this time that there was ongoing major corporate and law firm downsizing with attorneys looking for work by the droves….

Thomas H. Nelson of Portland area..Welches, Oregon

He is known as the first attorney to represent the interests of the attorney arrested by the FBI in Portland for association with the Madrid Spain bombing. His law offices were entered and files accessed. He sued the government over this.I figured he would at least know which attorneys were looking for cases like mine and which organizations were interested in amicus. He has purportedly turned down my case. His name was mentioned to me by Muslim activists. He has purportedly turned me down.

ODD. I emailed and faxed the request on October 3, 2011. The email and fax both appeared to sail through. Within an hour or two a rejection letter was emailed to me. I later noted that I had not signed the letter I faxed. I decided to refax the letter after signing it. This time, someone picked up the phone line and stated “wrong number”. The fax machine where I fax from, St. Anthony’s, does not give any paper documentation when this happens.

Also, that day, his office website thnelson.com would not come up so I used the bar association website to get an email and fax number. I mention this because, on a number of occasions, the Texas bar did not even have some of my prior attorneys listed unless I entered their name exactly and in full. For example, check “Shirley Madrid” on the Texas Bar. No contact information is available although it states she is looking for work! At least when I go on the Bar site. Perhaps there are pseudo Internet connections out there. Shirley Madrid was the attorney who joined Mr. Robert Provan’s law practice. She is USAF retired? unless I was misled about this connection. She appeared before the “suspicious Pakistani bachelor Muslim event” was staged at my office (mentioned below) and possibly has nothing to do with it.

If this does not sound like Mr. Nelson to not be helpful, please let him know about this situation. There was a “suspicious Muslim” event at my office which I believe was staged to give an employee an opportunity to complain to the government and allow them to put me under surveillance. He was creating a disturbance and demanding I sign immigration papers for him “vouching for his identity”. That is why I thought Mr. Nelson would be of assistance.

I will scan these documents when I can get access to a scanner and computer.

He is well known for the tobacco class actions and has been a prominent and respected politician in Mississippi for years. Look him up. Feel free to call him and ask if he received my request and encourage him to consider it and let me know he is considering it. Tell him to Google my comments about his good friend Dickie Scruggs. Mr. Scruggs’s drug addiction sounds iatrogenic to me and suspicious to boot.

Answer received signed David Salniker dated Oct 17, 2011. David Salniker is listed as the Director of Administration & Finance. They have refused advocacy on the issue of “ending the death penalty by demonstrating that the education of the forensic experts was constructed with huge holes in it, possibly deliberately”. I was referred to a group called Death Penalty focus of California. I have already attended their events (and have no more money to do so). They didn’t want to listen. Even that actor who is on their board didn’t seem to understand. I wish I could speak to Sister Prejean (the nun re: Dead Man Walking). after reading her book, The Death of Innocents, I felt she would understand the outrage and appropriateness of my protest, that the ADA applies here.

Letter of reply received. She is not aware of a HIPAA policy to allow the Feds to keep info about you (if you are a licensed professional) that you cannot access but is shared with different government groups, like law enforcement. She wants me to research it and send her more info. My copies of this document (from the 2004 edition of the AMA handbook on HIPAA) disappeared a long time ago and she surely has much better access to this info than I do.
