From my knowledge and experience in medicine, I am certain that a considerable percentage of the attorneys who get into trouble with the Bar association for their failure to maintain ethical behavior have some of the medical diagnoses that the pharmaceutical industry has sought to downplay. If physicians can’t accurately and timely diagnose, Big Pharma makes more money.
Imagine, just imagine a class action suit by these attorneys who have been misdiagnosed and then shoved into the waiting arms of the psychiatric profession to be dumped on again and again. Once they get over the illness (or find competent treatment) they will be able to monitor their attorneys for malfeasance in ways the usual clients cannot.
I am willing to be the experiential witness.
